Obedience
The Midlands Border Collie Club holds two Obedience events during the year.
Our popular Open Obedience Show was traditionally held on Easter Monday. We are very proud that from 2008 we have been granted Championship status. The date remains the same but is now Easter Sunday (Open Show) and Easter Monday (Championship Show). Our shows are always superbly organised by committee member Sheilagh Hyde, along with her hard-working team of helpers, and Sheilagh must take a great deal of the credit for this wonderful achievement.
At our Open Breed Show, held in October, we hold 3 or 4 Obedience classes which are limited to members of the Midlands Border Collie Club only. The dogs competing in these classes do not necessarily have to be Border Collies, but do have to belong to members. If a dog, competing in any of our members classes (Obedience or Breed) is registered in joint ownership, all owners must be fully paid up members of the Midlands Border Collie Club at the time of making entry to the class(es).

Results from shows held within the previous 12 months are linked below. Results are transferred to the Archive once each show has been superseded by the next year's event.
