Thank you to Sheilagh for the invitation to judge at this very well run show. I am most grateful to Tammy for the loan of Darren who was a first class steward and steered the competitors faultlessly round the ring! Thanks also to Lynette who looked out for my dogs all day.
1st Mrs A Cordwell Twianlights Magical Shadow. WS. Lost 5.75 This team produced a very stylish accurate round. They gave very little away and the few points they did lose were caused by some loss of position on turns. Excellent set exercises. I gather this was your second win. Good Luck in the higher classes
2nd Mr D Graley Solitair’s Daisy Mae. BC. Lost 6 Another very accurate round. Most marks lost for some drifting off the leg in heelwork. I am sure your wins will come very soon.
3rd Mrs S Britton Wynbeck Easter Bonnet. BC. Lost 7 Some loss of position in heelwork today cost a higher place. Clear set exercises. Another team that could easily be at the top of the line up.
4th ARO Mrs J Jenks Sweet Tilly of Daislen. WS. Lost 7.75 Tilly produced some excellent set exercises. Some wide turns were costly today, tighten these up and she will be well on her way.
5th ARO Mrs E White My First Puzzle. WS. Lost 7.75 Worked in the running order and produced some of the best heelwork of the day. An unfortunate retrieve cost top spot today.
6th ARO Mrs K Young Charouska Tartan Flame. WS. Lost 8.25 Another team with excellent set exercises.
Judges Special ARO Mr A Warner Alameda Red Rhythm X Lost 8.25 Lost run off for 6th by a whisker! A very accurate original round. Without the very costly halt in heelwork could easily have been at the other end of the line up.
