B Dog Pt 1 Report

24th March 2008

Judge: Bet Howe
Ring Steward: John Ball

Congrats to all the committee and helpers for putting on their 1st Champ show and making it a success, even managed to get the weather to behave. Thanks to Sheila and her stay ring party, job well done, also to Jan for decoy duties, not one dog brought in the decoy, so Jan you are officially "unsmelly". Mega thanks go to John who was efficient and golly good company, a little treasure! Finally thanks to the competitors for making the day a pleasant one.

1st Dodgin Mister Moon - Ms Hannay. WS. Lost 3 A steady controlled round from a dog who has been well schooled and knows his job. Well done Pandy good luck in C.

2nd Colliewood Blue Jeans - Mrs Ray. WS. Lost 4.5 Loved this dog, oozing attitude and flair, mistakes were from keenness and I am sure in Mary's hands this one will be soon be in the ticket ring. Good Luck.

3rd Cindally Special Brew - Mr Perrons. BC. Lost 4.75 Quietly handled, this dog worked for his dad. Sendaway costly, as HW on par with the winner. Well Done.

4th Bheinn Prancer It’s Jusfajon - Mrs Yates. WS. Lost 5.25 Had probs with putting bum on floor today, couple slows and 1 refusal which spoiled a lovely round. Strut yer stuff in the C round Lyn and show 'em what a cracker he is.

5th St Rocca - Mrs O'Malley. St Poodle. Lost 8 Lovely attitude from both handler and dog. Loss of position in HW took the marks. Well Done.

6th Standerwick Calypso - Mrs Morse. G Ret. Lost 9 You didn't think you were placed did you, hope it was a nice surprise. Good round but little bits of naughties took the marks, but a lovely scent kept you in. Moral of the story "taint over till the fat lady sings" and I didn't start singing till scent was over.

Just a thought WHY does someone write their number on the sheet, do stays, and never turn up at the ring to work or even to scratch or explain why not working. Waited quite a while for this person. Bad manners or what.

Hard luck to Larix Whisper, was up the top there, and dog said lets make the scent FUN
